This cabin is charming,was very clean and the upstairs bedroom was as expected from the pictures. Have to say that the pictures of the downstairs were a little misleading and that area is tight. Fine for the 2 of us, but be aware that 4 adults may feel crowded.
There are also a number of other rental close by. Outdoor fire pit was very nice and location is an easy distance to Boone or West Jefferson

Loved this cabin in the woods, especially the two porches and the lovely stream! The location feels very remote but is quite convenient to groceries, restaurants and shops. My only suggestion to management is to add some wine glasses!

If you're looking for the perfect small cabin in the woods, this is it. It's not all the bells and whistles but it was exactly what we were looking for. Set in the woods, quiet, serene, near a creek. Hot tub and tons of wildlife to see and enjoy(a family of 5 deer approached as we were on the porch) Off the beaten path. Well set up, layout was great and bed was comfortable. It was easy to get to as well and we loved how cozy it was. Nice porch to enjoy coffee on and a true "old school" feel. It was perfect for our couples getaway. Customer service and communication were phenomenal!

House was extremely clean! Since dogs are allowed was impressed with overall condition of furnitures and house, no smell or hair found from previous visits. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was refreshing, house felt secluded even though we had houses wedge close by since we were in a neighborhood. Great location to Todd and West Jefferson.

Charming cabin in Todd. Serene setting on the creek with screened back porch—which would be a bit cramped for more than two if folks weren’t in the hot tub. Keep in mind this is a neighborhood— so you get the usual people noises, power washers, lawn mowers etc during the day. The kitchen is well appointed with microwave, toaster etc—and it was clean.

This is a great little cabin with a great setting. We really enjoyed our visit there. The cabin is secluded and although there are neighbors , they are not close by. The only issue we had is that the hot tub malfunctioned while we were there. It is really old anyway so I would recommend replacing it with a slightly smaller unit so there would be room for a cover, and add a cover butler. It was really hard to handle and not a good place to store it while using the hot tub. Otherwise a great place to stay and I would recommend. Like some other reviewers mentioned we stayed in the upstairs bedroom because it was bigger, it stayed cool there the whole time, early September and didn't need heat or air one time. Everything except the hot tub was perfect.

Wow! We have been coming to this area for more than 10 years (with a short break due to Covid), but finally made the trip back to see the leaves change. We had an amazing time! The cabin is nicely decorated and in a neighborhood but still has that cabin/woods feel, there is only one other cabin close which is across the street, owners are friendly. The roads up to the cabin were not scary curvy like other cabins we have rented (we rented in October so no ice or snow). Walmart is very close so you can stock up on anything you need. Boone is very close about a 15 minute drive. Hot tub was amazing, we used the fire pit out back and saw lots of deer. There is a charming creek out back. Rental staff were helpful and professional. My only suggestion is the cabin decor could use a good dusting (we are allergic to dust). The cabin was very clean otherwise. Would definitely recommend it!

Had a lovely 3 night stay.... Cabin was perfectly decorated , furniture was comfy , as was the beds. Also had everything there for cooking. Fire pit by the little babbling brook in back was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning or share a glass of wine with your special someone by fire in the evening. The hot tub was great for the temps in the 40’s the first night we were there. Wooded lot made it private and also gave you a peaceful nature vibe. Property was just minuets from down town West Jefferson , which was very convenient. Would definitely rent this cabin again in the near future.

This was my second trip to Creekside Serenade. I absolutely love it. The location is convenient to town yet you have plenty of privacy. I am already planning my next stay! The beds are very comfortable and the cabin was very clean. We were disappointed that Shatley Springs Restaurant didn't open until the following weekend but the Hillbilly Grill didn't disappoint for breakfast and Boondocks Brewing Co was a hit for dinner. Get the apple was delicious!

What a great weekend rental! We were in town for App’s graduation and it was so nice not to have to stay in Boone with all the crowds. We grilled out and used the fire pit! The bed was very comfortable, my husband didn’t even snore. Will definitely be back later this summer.

My husband and I took a long weekend getaway with our two dogs, and had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Two bedrooms, both with King beds. Although the master is upstairs, we elected to stay downstairs, which was a little cramped for space. The unit was very clean, and the kitchen was adequately stocked (could use just a little bit more silverware?). The furniture was comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch glider in the mornings and evenings. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. We would likely look for a larger unit, however, if we were going to bring another couple. P. S. LOVED the ease of check in!!

We loved our weeklong stay with our 2 dogs. The bed was super comfortable and there is plenty of space to work if you are staying for a long period with excellent internet connection. The location is perfect to explore Boone/Blowing Rock (30-45 min) and Todd/West Jefferson and Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes). We enjoyed the porches & sitting by the creek. The house has everything you need to stay for a month. The house is located in cute neighborhood of log cabin homes that is perfect for a morning dog walk.

We love the town of West Jefferson. The hometown feel and great restaurants our amazing. Creekside Serenade is minutes from town. It is quiet and feels like home. It is decorated like a home not a rental. This is our second year of renting this cabin. And we will be back next year. We have found our perfect vacation spot. Beautiful mountain cabin close to West Jefferson and close enough to Boone. The fenced in pet area was ideal! Overall the cabin was very clean, perhaps a bit smaller than pictured - I would consider it tight for 2 couples, but lovely.

Creekside Serenade provided an excellent retreat from the Covid Craziness going on in the world today. It provided so many ways to relax. Sitting on the front porch gently rocking with a glass of wine. Relaxing in the hot tub as the warm bubbles washed my worries away. Warming by the fire pit listening to the flow of the creek. We couldn't have been more impressed. It was exactly what we needed.

We loved the location and beauty of the home. It was clean and decorated wonderfully. The process to reserve with the reservation company was a bit challenging (having to fill out and submit a very long lease multiple times).
The hot tub seemed to be struggling to heat and it would not stop running loudly all night. My children were so excited for the game table but it was missing two pool balls and the turning function was missing one of the fasteners. The water took a very long time to drain so we had to stand in dirty water while we showered.

This is an amazing cabin nice rustic style very clean and well kept. This place has all the needed items kitchen, living and bedroom areas. The hot tub is nice and being under covered porch is great because you can enjoy in any weather. The stream is so nice going through the property and community. Property is really close to town and many things to do in a short drive. I would highly recommend anyone staying here!

The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. The screened in porch with the hot tub was very relaxing while listening to the bubbling creek along side of the cabin. Even some wild chickens came out and entertained us while we feed them bread.

Nice cabin set on a small, babbling brook. Though set in a neighborhood, it was private enough that we didn't feel like the neighbors were on top of us.

Hottub was a nice respite after being out on the trails too!

While we typically prefer a little more elevation and seclusion, this turned out to be a great little spot for a last minute trip west!

Rental agency was great to deal with too - super friendly, responsive, and professional.

Our 4 night stay at Creekside Serenade was simply breathtaking! The cabin was clean and neat; the grill and firepit were empty and ready for use; and the views were amazing. The location was perfect (5 miles from W.Jefferson and 22 miles from Boone) making it easy to get to town as needed.

I stayed at Creekside Serenade for two nights. It's in a pretty location that is well maintained, I loved it. It was a lot further from Boone than I expected, if there was a quicker way to get to and from Boone, I didn't know how!

Thanks for the nice stay for my husband, myself and out two dogs. Cabin was cozy and comfortable, and very clean. The bed was comfy calling us after a long day of walking through the woods. The kitchen was ok, would've liked to see it a bit more stocked but it was manageable. Loved time in the hot tub too! If you wish to stay in one night & not cook, delivers!

We've stayed here twice and love it! The decor is cozy and cabin is well maintained. The large bedroom upstairs has it's own separate bathroom and provides great privacy, while the downstairs bedroom is also private with another bathroom. We always enjoy the hot tub and gas fireplace, plus it's located on a quaint creek and is easy to get to. Close to attractions in both West Jefferson and Boone, and easy driving distance to skiing and tubing in the area.

I was a wonderful cabin well appointed and cozy. The 2 king beds were great. We loved the fire pit right by the creek and the wildflowers in bloom around the property. Everything was in working order. The instructions were clear on use of cabin and check out. The only complain was the hot tub did not have any bromine in the dispenser and we did not feel it was that clean. It was mostly clear water but were not sure it was treated before we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay at creek side serenade! Would absolutely stay here again. It's definitely a small cabin, but so cute and the perfect size for two couples or a small family. We enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole set and the screened porch most. The hot tub is small but works great. Only two people at a time comfortably, but 3 can definitely fit. The only downside to the cabin is that it's about a 20 min drive into Boone or the surrounding cities. But if you're looking to just retreat and stay in the cabin it is perfect! The management service was so very friendly every time we communicated, too. Highly recommend!

The decor, landscaping, creek sounds, comfy king sized bed all made this stay so relaxing! The little details everywhere with little corner fireplace make for a cozy stay! It's convenient to west jefferson for dining, shopping,and cheese factory fun and the drive on 194 viewing gorgeous rolling pastures puts you in a mountain state of mind. Carolina Mountain is professional and does a fantastic job matching clients to homes. We have worked with them for years!

We were two individuals spending a week in the mountains. The house was perfectly sized for us, but more than 2 or 3 it could get a little cramped in the evenings if you need to be in the living room area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The cottage is in a great location very convenient to West Jefferson, which is one of the friendliest towns I've been too in a long time. They are VERY keen to ensure you are enjoying their town! I had my dog with me and he was made very welcome wherever we went in the town. He was even invited in to some of the shops (non food sellers). Most of the restaurants have outdoor seating so he could join us. We were easily able to get to many places in under an hour: Whitetop Mountain and Grayson Highlands SP in VA, Moses Cone and the BRP, Boone, Blowing Rock, and obviously Mt. Jefferson SP. We did not run out of things to do. We spent a lot of time on the front porch and enjoyed all the birds we saw - especially the Junco nesting in a wreath! My only wish for the place was that at least one of the dining tables be normal height. Both are high bar height and it would have been nice to have at least one of them so your feet are on the floor.

The cabin is very nice size for 4 ,but more might be a bit too cramped. Dinning space marginal, kitchen adequate.bed mattress's need updating.very good WiFi and tv was ok. A bit disappointed in location, too close to neighbors but the stream was nice. Distance to anything required driving,no hiking trails by the area. Overall ok. Good if you want just get away. Maybe a little pricey for the location.

We have stayed at Creedside Serenade twice and we love it. Very homey and comfortable for our family of six. The yard is level and large, and the screened with the hot tub is great. The cabin is located off the beaten path a bit, but not inconvenient to Boone at all. It's about a 25 minute drive to Boone. We will definitely be back.

It was a nice cute cabin located close to the stream. My boys had lots of fun throwing rocks and playing in the creek. We would definitely stay here again.

Great! Love the decor in the cabin. The only thing that was a disapointment was the ice maker in the cabin did not work. We did not know this and turned it on and water started to accumulate in the fridge.

Our cabin rental was terrific. This was our first time renting a cabin as we usually rent beach homes. The cabin was very clean and comfortably housed our family of 4. It was better stocked than most of the beach houses we rented. It is conveniently located about 15 minutes from West Jefferson which is great for dinner, restocking and cheese making. It is also only about a half hour from Tweetsie Railroad which was the purpose of our trip. The outside hot tub and fire pit were added bonuses and the stream was great. Lastly, the fully enclosed yard with chicken wire was perfect to allow our dogs to enjoy the outdoors. We are picky people, and we had no complaints

Cute cabin that felt like home away from home. Very relaxing and just the right size for our family of 4. Our two young children enjoyed the fooseball/hockey table. Hot tub was wonderful, too. Temps in the teens outside and we were nice & toasty in the hot tub! Such a great experience, highly recommend!

This was the most amazing trip. The cabin is fabulous, comfortable, dog friendly, and has a wonderful location. We had all our dinners on the lovely screened in porch while my dog ran around the fenced in yard. Listening to the creek and being surrounded by nature gave us the relaxing weekend we searched for. If this house is ever for sell I will buy it!!! Its a quick trip to West Jefferson, Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock!! Can't be beat!

What a relaxing place to get away from it all. Just a short drive to town but you would never know it when you are sitting on the screened in back porch watching deer. We saw deer in the yard every day. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed We will definitely go to this cabin again.

Our cabin experience was very positive. We were visiting family and were able to take our pet as it was "pet friendly" They had a fenced in area so she could be outside without us keeping her on her leash. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Only negative we found was the bedrooms had no "drawers of any kind" to place clothes/personal items in. Good space for hanging items. Location was close to family and cabin was clean. We would recommend to others.
