The main level, accessed by just a couple of steps from the parking area, boasts an open, airy feel thanks to the vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Cozy up in front of the gas log fireplace and lose yourself in a delightful book or watch your favorite movies on the TV, either using the Blu-ray player or by streaming your favorite shows. Just off the living room, you will find the spacious upper deck complete with bed swing, gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing.
The kitchen area is efficiently designed and offers sleek stainless steel Frigidaire appliances, elegant granite counters, and everything you'll need for preparing quick meals you can savor at the charming 6-person dining table.
The cabin features three luxurious bedroom suites, one on each floor. On the main level is a King suite with a TV and a private bathroom featuring a beautiful, tiled shower. Upstairs, you'll find a suite with two Twin beds, a TV, and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. Downstairs is a suite with a King bed, TV, and a stylish tiled shower.
You'll never be bored at Bearly Behaving. The lower level boasts a game room with a pool table, TV, and a magnetic dartboard. Step outside to the lower-level patio and take a dip in the bubbling hot tub. After dark, head into the yard to catch fireflies and roast marshmallows around the firepit.
The cabin offers high-speed Wi-Fi, so you can easily keep up with work or stay connected with friends. You are also just five minutes away from Historic Todd and the scenic New River. Visit RiverGirl Fishing for all your biking, kayaking, or tubing needs. Todd Island Park is just 5 miles away where you can fish or play in the river. Boone is just a 20-minute drive away, and West Jefferson is 25 minutes away. This idyllic retreat promises an unforgettable mountain escape filled with adventure and relaxation.

What a cute cabin! Comfortable, well-appointed, great communication with property management. The cabin has a large back deck - we loved the bed swing!! This place was just right for our family of 5 adults - loved having 3 full baths! Located in Todd, NC, please be aware that the Todd Railroad Grade Road is very narrow and curvy. If you're new to mountain driving, take it slow and easy! Also, the last 1/2 mile to the cabin is a gravel road. No rain during (or before) our trip so muddy travel was not an issue. The cabin is a good home base for activities in and around Boone/Blowing Rock/Banner Elk - would stay here again.

Thank you for leaving a review of your recent stay at Bearly Behaving. This home is just off Hwy 194 so you are convenient to Todd, Boone and West Jeffferson. The last part of gravel road is well maintained and it being muddy should never be an issue. We look forward to having you stay with us again.
