Fun Filled Family Vacation

The home was fantastic. Plenty of room and furnished with everything needed plus some. House was clean, well maintained and in a great location for our needs. Customer Service was excellent and easily accessible throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property and in fact we look forward to coming back next year. Only pitfall was that all the trash facilities were closed when we were heading out of town so I highly suggest not to wait to drop off any extra trash like we did. This is not the property's fault just not good planning on our part.

Great Place for a Mountain Getaway

Bluff Mtn Retreat met all our expectations. We spent most of our time on the large covered deck. Even though it rained most days we were there, it was still enjoyable. The house is conveniently located to all our favorite places. It has a large open area in the kitchen/great room and comfortable beds. It was cool enough one evening, we got to have a fire in the fireplace. I would definitely recommend this rental

This house is perfect for families, with sleeping areas spread out for privacy and quiet. The view is beautiful and the home is clean, inviting, and well equipped. Management response was excellent; the washing machine had a problem and they had someone out to fix it that same day. We couldn’t have been happier with our trip. We also loved West Jefferson, it was our first time there.

We absolutely loved this home. The location and views were amazing. Clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there in the future. The only concern we had was with the hard wood floors; even barefoot, the floors were very slippery. Maybe they were cleaned with something that caused this.

The views from the deck were beautiful especially as we traveled during peak foliage. Beds were very comfortable and my kids loved the throw blankets all over the house. Unfortunately we forgot our suits so couldn’t take advantage of the hot tub 🙁 only suggestion would be to add a Keurig brought some kcups with us but couldn’t use, luckily Talia Espresso saved the mornings - highly recommend for a cup of morning joe when you’re in West Jefferson. Had less than stellar service from Booneshine Restaurant and New River Brewing Ale House but would recommend Just Wing It!

What a lovely and quiet home for a get-away with our dog. The location is perfect when you want space to breathe and to be close to downtown West Jefferson. The property was clean and well-maintained and comes highly recommended. As always, Carolina Mountain Properties takes good care of their guests.

The cleanest and best maintained cabin we have been to. Very nice furnishings and decor. We appreciated the ice maker and all the extra kitchen utensils. A privacy fence around the hot tub would be a nice feature. Overall, a very nice rental property.

5 Day Fall Vacation with Fur Babies

Bluff Mountain Retreat is a Wonderful Vacation Rental. It was Clean, Very Comfortable, and Roomy. My Husband and I were able to stay on the Main Level with our 2 Four-Legged Fur Babies (our 2 dogs - Toy Maltese and Shorkipoo). Bluff Mountain Retreat has Wonderful Views from the Big Front Porch and the Back of Home. Bluff Mountain Retreat is in a Very Nice Subdivision. This Rental is within minutes to West Jefferson & Jefferson, and 25 to 30 minutes to Boone. Lots of Wonderful Restaurants to Eat at and Lot of Shops for Shopping within minutes. The Old Barn Winery was also within Minutes. The Kitchen was well equipped to cook a meal there at the house. This Home and views are just as pictured, the Den has a lot of seating and Spacious. The Master Bedroom on Main Level is Spacious and has a King size bed.
We have been Renting from Carolina Mountain Properties for quite a while now. Their Rentals are Clean, everyone at the Office is so Nice, Professional, and more than Happy to assist you when needed. We Highly Recommend Renting from Carolina Mountain Properties. We will be renting again in the near future.
