Sandy is a native Floridian who arrived in Ashe County in 1989 and discovered that half her mom’s ancestors were from the Ashe County area in the late 1700’s when it was still part of Wilkes. Sandy will be talking about why her ancestors left\, where they went\, and how she was the first one from her branch of the family to move back.
